A medium-weight economic worker placement game based on the history of the great Union Stockyards in Chicago. In its heyday 40,000 people worked within this one square mile and 100,000 animals passed through daily, supplying 80% of all meat consumed in the USA. You play one of the "Big Five" meat packers trying to increase your profit margin by using all parts of the animal, while manipulating and using the supply-driven livestock market prices to your advantage. You must continuously battle the labor unions, and sometimes deal with labor strikes. You can campaign for politicians to increase your influence (turn order). Historical events occur each round to the benefit or frustration of all players. This is a playtest using an ugly prototype of an unpublished game, which will hopefully be a beautiful published game in 2020.

I play a variety of games, but my favorites are typically medium to heavy weight euros. I also design games.
