Roll'n'Write Mega-Game: Welcome To...
Limited Capacity seats available

Special guest Meeple Lady facilitates this mega-game, where as many people as can fit in the theater can simultaneously play this twist on a classic roll-and-write, by projecting the card images onto the big screen.

As an architect in Welcome To..., you want to build the best new town in the United States of the 1950s by adding resources to a pool, hiring employees, and more.  Welcome To... plays like a roll-and-write dice game in which you mark results on a score-sheet...but without dice. Instead you flip cards from three piles to make three different action sets with both a house number and a corresponding action from which everyone chooses one. You use the number to fill in a house on your street in numerical order. Then you take the action to increase the point value of estates you build or score points at the end for building parks and pools. Players also have the option of taking actions to alter or duplicate their house numbers. And everyone is racing to be the first to complete public goals. There's lots to do and many paths to becoming the best suburban architect in Welcome To...!

Many gamers love the idea of trading games with other locals, but finding someone to trade with can be complicated.  BoardGameGeek.com has a “Math Trade” system which allows numerous users to submit items for trade, identify which offered items they’d be willing to receive in exchange, then let magical computers try to find trade partners for you! If you would like to participate in the BGG Math Trade currently happening for this year’s RinCon, check out the geeklist on BGG! Blood on the Clocktower
Limited Capacity seats available

In the quiet village of Ravenswood Bluff, ‌a demon walks amongst you...

During a hellish thunderstorm, on the stroke of midnight, there echoes a bone-chilling scream. The townsfolk rush to investigate and find the town storyteller murdered, their body impaled on the hands of the clocktower, blood dripping onto the cobblestones below.

A Demon is on the loose, murdering by night and disguised in human form by day. Some have scraps of information. Others have abilities that fight the evil or protect the innocent. But the Demon and its evil minions are spreading lies to confuse and breed suspicion.

Will the good townsfolk put the puzzle together in time to execute the true demon and save themselves? Or will evil overrun this once peaceful village?

Blood on the Clocktower is a bluffing game enjoyed by 5 to 20 players on opposing teams of Good and Evil, overseen by a Storyteller player who conducts the action and makes crucial decisions.

During a 'day' phase players socialize openly and whisper privately to trade knowledge or spread lies, culminating in a player's execution if a majority suspects them of being Evil. Of a 'night' time, players close their eyes and are woken one at a time by the Storyteller to gather information, spread mischief, or kill.

The Storyteller uses the game's intricate playing pieces to guide each game, leaving others free to play without a table or board. Players stay in the thick of the action to the very end even if their characters are killed, haunting Ravenswood Bluff as ghosts trying to win from beyond the grave.

If you arrive late to a game, you can enter after it's started as a powerful Traveller character with unusual talents and questionable allegiances. Each character comes with their own special ability and no two players in a game are ever the same character.

Texas Hold 'Em With Zombies Charity Tournament, round 1
Limited Capacity seats available

Help the gaming community, *and* kill zombies!  Yee-haw!!

$10 initial entry fee, 2nd buy-in at 10:00, 100% of which will go to the IGDN Metatopia scholarship!! See below for details.

Texas Hold’em With Zombies and the Underworld Series of Poker is everything that Traditional Texas Hold’em is, only nastier, more cut- throat, and strategic. Players bet their lives on poker cards, some of which double as zombies. Better defend yourself, or these zombies will cut into your chip stack faster than an all-you-can-eat brain buffet. Whether they’re handled through force of might and firepower, cunning traps and armor, or lured against other players, you will need to deal with the undead before they deal with you! If you thought you were good at poker, try this game on for size. It might make you think again. THZ is a highly-addictive strategy card game. We combined poker with classic role-playing elements, like characters, leveling, zombies, monsters, and more!

RinCon is partnering with the Indie Game Developer Network (IGDN) to support their scholarship fund to send up-and-coming tabletop game designers to the Metatopia Game Design Festival, where they can get mentorship to work on their ideas and bring them to life. Help us help IGDN support the participation of marginalized communities and to bring fresh new voices to the indie community.

DCC for IGDN: Brendan LaSalle GMs an Improv Game for Charity
Limited Capacity seats available

RinCon is partnering again with the Indie Game Developer Network (IGDN) to support their scholarship fund to send up-and-coming tabletop game designers from underrepresented minorities to the Metatopia Game Design Festival, where they can get mentorship to work on their ideas and bring them to life.  Help us help IGDN support the participation of marginalized communities and to bring fresh new voices to the indie community.

So, what IS this event?  Watch in awe and amazement as Brendan LaSalle, creator of Xcrawl, writer on Dungeon Crawl Classics from Goodman Games, and GM extraordinaire, leads a group of RinCon special guests on a madcap adventure through a Dungeon Crawl Classics world.  The twist?  For a donation to the IGDN scholarship fund, you, the audience, will get to throw in whatever idea, concept, or event you like, and Brendan will have to incorporate it into the session on the fly, and our special guest players will have to roll with it!  And you, RinCon attendees, will have a chance to take a seat at the table, too!  There will be raffles at the final RinCon fundraiser on September 1st and at RinCon itself to win a place in this event.  We promise, hilarity will ensue!
