Panel: Inclusivity and Diversity in Gaming
Limited Capacity seats available

We need to keep talking about this, until we don't need to anymore. This panel will focus on the many faces of inclusion, what diversity really means, and how to support them at our gaming tables, throughout our events, and in our industry.

Roll'n'Write Mega-Game: Welcome To...
Limited Capacity seats available

Special guest Meeple Lady facilitates this mega-game, where as many people as can fit in the theater can simultaneously play this twist on a classic roll-and-write, by projecting the card images onto the big screen.

As an architect in Welcome To..., you want to build the best new town in the United States of the 1950s by adding resources to a pool, hiring employees, and more.  Welcome To... plays like a roll-and-write dice game in which you mark results on a score-sheet...but without dice. Instead you flip cards from three piles to make three different action sets with both a house number and a corresponding action from which everyone chooses one. You use the number to fill in a house on your street in numerical order. Then you take the action to increase the point value of estates you build or score points at the end for building parks and pools. Players also have the option of taking actions to alter or duplicate their house numbers. And everyone is racing to be the first to complete public goals. There's lots to do and many paths to becoming the best suburban architect in Welcome To...!

Flea Market
This is a great opportunity to meet up with local folks to buy, sell, or trade your used games. We're also expanding and including local artisans and craftspeople, so come on down and shop for those unique gaming accoutrements you won't find anywhere else! We will have several tables available, so bring in a pile of games priced to sell or your game-related goods, or just show up with some cash and hunt for an awesome deal! Buyers, there’s no need to register, just come shop! This event will be located in the lecture theater, downstairs from the main lobby. The doors will open to buyers promptly at 2:00 pm. SELLERS: To reserve a table, please email the event coordinator at MIKETUNA@GMAIL.COM prior to the event. This will also help in sending out event updates. Note that there will be a $10 per-table fee to participate as a seller, which must be paid in cash during the event. All of this money will go directly to the convention. Each seller will have approximately 8 feet of table space in the lecture hall (tables are about 12-18” wide). All sellers are responsible for their own merchandise and sales throughout the event. Please inventory all used items ahead of time and provide accurate information regarding their condition and completeness. Assignment of tables will be prioritized by attendees who register for this event via email. All remaining sections will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the event. Sellers MUST be at the event 30 minutes prior to the start time to get a table assignment, and set up their merchandise. If you register for this event but do not show up early, your space may be given away if needed.

DCC for IGDN: Brendan LaSalle GMs an Improv Game for Charity
Limited Capacity seats available

RinCon is partnering again with the Indie Game Developer Network (IGDN) to support their scholarship fund to send up-and-coming tabletop game designers from underrepresented minorities to the Metatopia Game Design Festival, where they can get mentorship to work on their ideas and bring them to life.  Help us help IGDN support the participation of marginalized communities and to bring fresh new voices to the indie community.

So, what IS this event?  Watch in awe and amazement as Brendan LaSalle, creator of Xcrawl, writer on Dungeon Crawl Classics from Goodman Games, and GM extraordinaire, leads a group of RinCon special guests on a madcap adventure through a Dungeon Crawl Classics world.  The twist?  For a donation to the IGDN scholarship fund, you, the audience, will get to throw in whatever idea, concept, or event you like, and Brendan will have to incorporate it into the session on the fly, and our special guest players will have to roll with it!  And you, RinCon attendees, will have a chance to take a seat at the table, too!  There will be raffles at the final RinCon fundraiser on September 1st and at RinCon itself to win a place in this event.  We promise, hilarity will ensue!
